Kunzum La, Spiti Valley (Himachal Pradesh)

This summer, snow has been predicted in Kunzum Pass, which is situated in Spiti, and should last from May to June. Bhaderwah, Jammu (Jammu & Kashmir)

Another snow-covered valley tucked in the Doda district of Jammu is Bhaderwah. Located in the foothills of the middle Himalayas, it is often hailed as “Chota Kashmir” for its striking beauty. The best time to visit is spring and summer for the snow begins to melt, unveiling vast stretches of green meadows and colourful flowers. This year, however, Bhaderwah continues to be covered by thick blankets of snow. Snow is predicted to last from April till mid-June.
